Sony Vaio C Series Color covers and accessories

The original keyboard of the Vaio C series of Chiclet, is black or white (depending on model), with white backlight. However, Sony has expanded its idea of keyboard covers that we saw in the Series F, and several covers available in bright colors.

The backlight, with the cover on, it still works but obviously with much less intensity. As for the trackpad, is fused with the rest of the case and has small raised dots to help keep your fingers inside.

The screen, which is 14 inches diagonally, is a LED and 16:9 format 1366 x 768 resolution. The output is fully compatible with high definition, although it is missing and can not have 1080p native resolution. The webcam on the screen is a 1.3 megapixel (1280 × 1024) and has been enhanced with Sony’s Exmor technology to deal with tricky lighting conditions.

Internally, the Vaio C series processor equipped with a 2.30GHz Intel Core i5 with 4GB of DDR3 RAM, 320GB hard drive at 5400 RPM and AMD Radeon HD 6470M graphics with 512MB of memory.

The sound is run by very powerful speakers but not compatible with Dolby positional audio. Batteries are a point that obscures rather the overall color of the Serie C. Nominally have a battery life of 3.5 hours that we fear that comes at 3 in actual use.
